  • Pick Up At Dandelion Bikes

    Head to Dandelion Bikes in the Central District to pick up your bike. Their team will walk you through the basics, make sure the fit is right, and help with any accessories that make riding easier.

    Your subscription includes the essentials to keep you moving: a high-quality lock, protection against theft and damage, maintenance support, and roadside assistance. If you decide you love the bike, you can apply a portion of your subscription payments toward purchasing a new e-bike from the shop.

When will I get my bike?

It typically takes a week to get a bike ready. Once ready your local shop will contact you to schedule a pick up.

Where do I pick up my bike?

You will pick up your bike at Dandelion Bikes in Seattle.

Do you offer delivery?

What is the reimbursement benefit for the program?

Confirm your program eligibility with the GBike Commute admins prior to signing up. If you meet the requirements, you can receive reimbursement based on the terms below:

Google will reimburse employees fully for their first month; and successively up to $10% of your subscription per trip to the office .

For example:

  • First month free (Google will reimburse the full amount of your subscription)
  • Then earn up to the full amount of your subscription cost per month by commuting just 10 days to and from the office on your bike)

What's included in the Friiway Subscription?

Every Friiway subscription includes:

  • Premium Bike
  • Charger
  • Lock 
  • Optional accessories (depending on bike model)
  • Repair & maintenance for normal wear & tear
  • Protection against theft & damage

Will my bike be new or used?

Your bike is not guaranteed to be new. All bikes are certified by expert mechanics before they are made available for subscription.

What happens if I need repair for normal wear & tear?

Maintenance & repair is included in your subscription. For example, tune ups, changing brake pads, & fixing flat tires. 

If your bike needs maintenance or repair you can bring it Dandelion Bikes or a local shop.

Please contact Dandelion Bikes prior to completing any service.

What happens if my ebike gets damaged?

If your bike is damaged you should contact your shop as soon as possible. 

In the case of damage, Dandelion Bikes will deduct maximum of $500 from your security deposit.

If your bike is damaged, we'll want to get you a bike that is safe to ride as soon as possible.

What happens if my bike gets stolen?

If your bike is stolen, you should contact Dandelion Bikes as soon as possible, file a written police report.  

In the case of theft, the subscriber is responsible for the $500, or the entire security deposit.

Are there any important requirements for the subscription?

Here are few important details, we’d like to highlight: 

  • Age You must be at least 18 years of age to subscribe.
  • Helmets A helmet must be worn by the rider and all passengers at all times while riding. 
  • Storing Your Bike Overnight All bikes must be in an enclosed, covered, and locked area. For example, inside a garage or your home. Bikes also need to be secured to something immovable while stored overnight. For example, a floor or wall anchor.
  • Securing your bike When not attended, bikes must be locked and secured to something immovable (e.g a bike rack anchored to the ground). 
  • No Courier or Delivery Services Using your bike for courier or delivery services is not permitted.

What if I want to change bikes mid subscription?

You are free to switch bikes at any point during your subscription - pending availability.

Can I buy my bike?

Yes! You can buy your subscription bike at any point after 3 months. Reach out to Dandelion to receive a quote.

How do I cancel my subscription?
