What is Friiway?

Friiway is the easiest way to get started riding an ebike. We partner with local shops to offer ebike subscriptions to the ebike curious.

Great bikes, no long term commitment, paths to purchase, and trusted local service.

How do I sign up?

Before selecting a bike on Friiway.com, follow sign up instructions at https://planning.ubc.ca/e-bike

Where will I pick up my bike?

Bikes will be picked up at Bishop's Family Cycles, located at 1683 Chestnut St.

Can I Test Ride Before my trial?

Absolutely! Swing by Bishop's Family Cycles for a test ride.

Where do I return the bike at the end of my trial?

Bikes need to be returned to Bishop's Family Cycles.

Can I keep my bike at the end of the trial?

Yes! There are two options:

  1. Continue with a monthly subscription. Your subscription will automatically begin if the bike is not return on or before the 14th day of your free trial.
  2. Buy your bike. Reach out and we'll send you a quote!

What about theft & damage?

Theft In the case of theft, you are responsible for contacting your shop as soon as possible and filing a written police report. Provided the conditions of the subscription agreement were adhered to, our loss fee for an unrecovered stolen bike is CA$600. 

Damage If you damage the bike you will be charged for the cost of parts & labor. Provided the conditions of the subscription agreement were adhered to, the maximum you are responsible for is CA$600.
